Explore Pixodesk Animator features

Pixodesk Animator simplifies the creation of animated content by combining a powerful vector editor and animator while also offering a wide range of exporting options.
The app is built upon the popular Lottie file format, offering you increased flexibility for using it with various other drawing and rendering tools.
There is also a vast and active Lottie artwork community that you can tap into when crafting your own artwork.

Create

  • Create vector drawings, import vector or raster images, and use custom TTF fonts.
  • Don't feel like starting from scratch? No worries! You can use and change animations made by others. Check out cool animations from the Lottie community, such as those on LottieFiles and IconScout.
  • If you want to make something really cool and complicated, you can! Use animation blocks to put together detailed animated scenes. It's like building with easy-to-use blocks.

Animate

  • Make keyframe-based animations the traditional way by using the Watch and Diamond buttons. Create animation loops, blocks, and time-remaps.
  • Animating properties is a breeze with auto-animate feature. Fix the object's state on the canvas at one or more time points by uzing the Pin button. Then, move the time control to a different point, make changes, and keyframes will be created automatically.
  • Making animations look natural is super easy with pre-defined easing functions. You can choose them from a dropdown menu or customize the easing curve by editing it. Easing functions also come with charts for velocity and acceleration, helping you understand how the change works in time.

Export

  • Export into a small animated SVG file for the web using either JS or CSS animation types. After that, you can easily put this SVG directly into your webpage, which will look good on screens with different resolutions.
  • Control how the animation starts and ends on your webpage: whether it's triggered by a click, scroll, or mouse movements.
  • When building native apps for Windows, iOS, Android, or ReactNative, you can use your Lottie JSON file in the app along with the matching Lottie player libraries. Give your app a cool look with animated splash screens, loaders, and icons.
  • Export your animation as a video or gif, or save a snapshot at a specific time as a png, jpeg, webp, or svg image.

Auto-animate

Animating properties is a breeze with auto-animate feature. Fix the object's state on the canvas at one or more time points by uzing the Pin button. Then, move the time control to a different point, make changes, and keyframes will be created automatically.

Easing

  • Making animations look natural is super easy with pre-defined easing functions. You can choose them from a dropdown menu or customize the easing curve by editing it. Easing functions also come with charts for velocity and acceleration, helping you understand how the change works in time.
  • Keyframe segments are visually represented as mini velocity charts, providing you with insights into the easing dynamics.

Create animated icons

  • Create or import an icon, then easily add animations like Trim Path, Dash Array, Rotation, Scale, Skew, and others.
  • Get different effects like fading, flipping, bouncing, and making the stroke disappear or move along a path.
  • Use grid and snap modes for accurate drawing.
  • Finally, use your animated icon on your website or in your mobile/desktop app.

Create animated splash-screens

  • Create visually stunning splash-screen animations to engage with users, giving them a good first impression.
